I bought this iron a very long time ago (2 years ago). I loved it. It never gave me problems. Only thing I noticed was the spray nozzle was not pointed straight. In addition it was not sticking outside of the iron. It was inside and i could kind of move it close to the right angle with a pointy object (or with my finger, depending where it was). I didn't think it was an issue, especially since i hardly ever used it. the extra burst of steam was always enough. But, upon inspecting my roommate's iron (which is the exact same model) i saw that his spray nozzle was pointed straight and it was outside of the iron and did not move. So I decided to replace it with a similar model. I took it to costco and returned it. It worked perfectly fine. Even thought i did not use the spray function, I thought since the product is not working the way it is supposed to, then i should take it back. also, it seemed that there might be a slight chance that the nozzle might move in a position which would make it impossible for me re-adjust. also, it might be possible for me to attempt to spray and water leak within the iron (where water should not go), that was a possible safety hazard.

I could not find a similar iron. This iron is not on the sunbeam website.

I see there are two reviews here that say that this ironed worked fine for awhile. i guess i was lucky for my iron to work perfectly fine. so i give this iron 4.5 to 4.8 stars.

My roommate has not had any problems with his iron. But, for what it's worth, I did not use my iron often, I used it only every few days for just a few minutes to iron a shirt or a pair of jeans.
from my experience and my roommate's experience, i recommend this iron, but.. they don't make it anymore.

If I knew that I could not replace it with a similar model, then i would have never returned. This was one of the best products I have ever had. I regret taking it back (b'cos I cant find a replacement).

Brought this at COSTCO 10 months back. it worked fine for 6 months but stopped working now. the main problem seems to be that level of heat is dropping. so how much pressure you put the creases are not going. it has become very hard even to iron thin t-shirts. we will try returning it and see
